Bhagat Singh

2. Bhagat Singh was born on September 28, 1907, in Banga, Punjab.

3. he was inspired by the sacrifices of freedom fighters like Lala Lajpat Rai and Kartar Singh Sarabha.

4. His mother’s name was Vidyavati and Father’s name was Kishan singh.

5. Bhagat Singh’s revolutionary journey began when he joined the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association.

6. During his imprisonment, Bhagat Singh wrote extensively about his vision for an independent and socialist India.

7. On March 23, 1931, Bhagat Singh, along with Rajguru and Sukhdev, was hanged by the British government.

8. His famous slogan, “Inquilab Zindabad” continues to inspire generations.

Sukhdev and Rajguru

1. Sukhdev Thapar and Shivaram Rajguru were two brave revolutionaries who fought for India’s independence.

2. Both were members of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA) and worked alongside Bhagat Singh.

3. Sukhdev was born on May 15, 1907, in Ludhiana, Punjab, and Rajguru was born on August 24, 1908, in Khed, Maharashtra.

4. Sukhdev was known for his strong leadership, while Rajguru was an expert marksman and fighter.

5. They strongly believed in the ideals of socialism and complete independence from British rule.

6. They played a key role in the assassination of J.P. Saunders in 1928 to avenge the death of Lala Lajpat Rai.

7. On March 23, 1931, they were hanged in Lahore Central Jail, along with Bhagat Singh.

8. Their sacrifice is remembered as Shaheed Diwas (Martyrs’ Day) in India every year.
